FREE ENTRY
For more information contact Jane Percy secretary@dorsetiam.org.uk or 01305 820963

The first step is to come along to the three presentations given by the Dorset Group examiner (a class 1 civilian police driving instructor), which will take you through topics including observations, positioning, speed management, reading the road and awareness of other road users.
These presentations are free to attend.
Following on from this you can enrol with the Group for a practical Skill for Life course, being guided by a specially trained observer to test standard.
A fee is payable but Dorset County Council on this occasion, are supporting these sessions by offering a limited number of discounted courses. This discount should hopefully halve the cost.
On passing your Advanced Test you will be eligible for full membership of the IAM and able to access all the continued support and information to help you develop your skills and stay on top of your game.
You will also be entitled to take advantage of a wide range of member benefits including the unique IAM Surety Insurance Scheme.
