Here comes the summer! Breeze through or sneeze through?

While most of us are really looking forward to the summer weather, there are some who wish it could never happen. These are the hay-fever sufferers.

It begins first thing one morning, with sneeze after sneeze. The tickling just doesn't stop. And then after a few days your eyes begin to feel sore and other people start noticing. Sometimes it begins to affect the lungs too, with symptoms of asthma. It can also make your ears really itchy, and affect your sinuses.

And then, after a while, your sense of taste disappears. There seems no point in cooking when everyone else says how nice it tastes, but you can't taste, or smell anything.

You close your windows methodically, and dry your sheets and pillow-cases indoors. You don't sit out on the lawn like you used to, or look forward to picnics in the country. It's as if half of the year is taken away from you.

Why is it that some people have a reaction like this, and some people don't? Well, it's all down to linking. When your subconscious, the part of your brain that controls every action and reaction in your body (and your mind) joins a sequence to an everyday object (like pollen, house-dust, or perfume), no matter what you do, it seems that the reaction is set in stone.

Imagine how useful it would be, if you could magically break the links in the hay-fever reaction. No more sneezing, no more red eyes. Lots more walks in the country, and the taste and smells of summer months.

This is the art of making hay-fever vanish. It's easy to do once you know how, and it can mean that you can enjoy all of the year, not just half of the year.
