I thought you might appreciate some feedback about our advert in the Forum Advertiser.

The Sturminster Newton Orchestra Workshop always welcomes new members; we cater for beginner orchestral musicians of any age, or those returning to play after any number of years absence, and find that many people do not know where to look for an amateur orchestra willing to welcome them. The orchestra has advertised regularly with you, as well as via posters in shop windows, on the internet and through press releases in the local newspapers. We are delighted to tell you that we have seen a steady flow of enquiries from people who cite your magazine as their source of information, probably second only to word of mouth, and more than the other publications put together. There must be something about the local nature of your magazine that prompts people to read it and respond to the adverts; certainly we are more than pleased with the effect that ours has had.
