Blandford U3A 

There are fourteen branches of the University of the Third Age (U3A's) in Dorset. Each is run by local people who share their expertise and enthusiasms for no fee. Charges are therefore very low ranging from £15 in Blandford to £37 for those branches who have large groups and have to book halls.

Any number of classes can be attended for the one annual fee.

Walking, coffee mornings, lunch groups and open meetings with speakers also take place throughout the year.

Blandford has 25 different groups, languages, computing beginners and advanced, art, music, writing, reading, theatre going, singing, geology, scrabble, bridge, mah-jong, embroidery/quilting. It is hoped to begin a Russian speaking group and a seminar discussion group to discuss items of interest to members. The first subject might be Quantum Physic.

All who are not in full time education can join, you will be very welcome.
